I noticed today that fellow SQL Server MVP Thomas LaRock (blog | twitter) had updated his SQL Server blog rankings, and promoted me to be on the TempDB list. That was quite a nice surprise, and a good way to start out the week. It is amazing to be included on a list with such a distinguished group of SQL Server bloggers!

Thomas recently had his new book, DBA Survivor – How to Become a Rock Star DBA, published by APress. I have not read his book yet, but I have heard nothing but good things about it.
