Why can users connect to my Report Server URL without having proper permissions?

  Hello,

  I've installed and configured a MSSQL 2008 R2 Report Server on a shared server for my company. I set myself up as the administrator on the report server. I have no other users added to the folder security settings on the report server. So, why can users still get to the Report Server with the url I give them? This should not be the case. I should have to add a New Role Assigment to the user BEFORE they can connect to the report server, right?

  Cany anyone please help me. Is a problem with the way I installed MSSQL? Can I change a setting somewhere? I've been looking into this for the last two days and am stumped.

  Hi,

  Can you let me know while configuring Report server what you have given for service account?

  you can restrict others by giving your localsystem or specifing your own Username.
