Do you recommend any book to learn and be expert on query tuning and optimization ?
Is following is the only available book? How is it?

SQL Server 2008 Query Performance Tuning Distilled
Books alone aren't going to make you an expert. Practice does that. Lots of practice.

Reading books : storing data in table variables
small practice : storing data in temp table
lots of practice: storing data in physical table
daily a lots of practice : physical tables with good indexes 😉
