Hi!
I need to replicate a database from one server to another.
Each database is on a diferent machine.
One machine is on domain and the other isnt. Im getting an error related to the permissions on the repl folder.
I gave full control To everyone but the error remains.
Advices??ideas??
Thanks in advance.
I previously did a replication between two machines in the same domain

i didnt understand your atatement here , that one machine is in the domain and the other on inst,
my guess:-
one database (publisher ) in in the domain and the (subcriber) is a standalone machine
here there is a lot of chance of permision as the the domain id which you are using for the configration of the replication should have enough permission on the domain as well as in the standalone machine ,
unless that you will face this permission issue.
i am just guessing,
i had always configured replication on the DB's either both of them are in domain or both Standalone.

What is the user that you are using to run the services (Both SQL and Agent) in your publisher and subscriber? Which domain is the snapshot folder? Where is your distributor?
What exactly is the error. It must have a severity error number.

As I recall, when replicating across domains, I had to create identical accounts on each server with the same password.

Also, if it is cross domains you may hit permissions problems even if the everyone group is added if domain trusts are not setup correctly. I would ensure with your sysadmins that the trust between domains is setup correctly and specify the accounts that have access to the replication share.
