I was home today, since my 3.15Kw solar PV system was being installed, so I took a few pictures of my backyard with my two vicious guard-dog miniature dachshunds, Ruby and Roxy. Ruby (closest to the camera) is ten years old, and Roxy is seven years old. They both weigh between 10 and 11 pounds (depending on how many treats they have been able to beg recently), and they are about nine inches tall at the shoulder.
You can also see a couple of green EarthBOXes to the left of the girls. I have two tomato plants in each one of them. This is the first year I have tried them, and so far they seem to be working very well.
This is a picture of one of my Square Foot gardens. There are Sugar Snap Peas, Swiss Chard, Mesclun Salad Mix, Radishes, Spinach, Kolhrabi, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Carrots, Onions, Bell Peppers, and a Tomato plant. You can get a lot of variety and a good yield from 16 square feet!
