Report Subscriptions when using Sharepoint 2010

  • My users are getting an error message when trying to setup a report subscription to send a copy of the report via email to somebody other than themselves.

The error message essentially says that they have to have administrator priveleges to send a report to any email but their own.

Does anybody know a work around that I can grant them rights to schedule reports to other users?

I mostly have experience with SAP Business Objects, and in BO XI R2 and various versions before that users were able to schedule reports to destinations other than themselves without haveing to be admins... I'm just hoping there's a right somewhere I can grant to allow users to setup subscriptions to reports for users other than themselves.

    Thanks.

  • Tracked this one down...

Under site permissions, pick permissions levels.

Edit the group as appropirate and give Manage alerts permission to the group.
