We are upgrading all of our developers to SQL Server 2008 R2 Express for, among other things, the extra 6GB of space. But previously we had issues with Visual Studio 2008 and SQL Server 2008 and making sure all the service packs were applied in a certain order. I'm changing our installation scripts and am not sure if we still need to include SQL Server 2008 SP1 for R2...
