I need to get data from servers running SQL Server worgroup. Is it possible to run a package on a server which is running SQL Server Enteprise version and point to an instance of SQL Server running Worgroup edition in an oledb connection?

As long as the server running your packages has SSIS installed, you can get data from wherever you want.
