SS 2K8 Unable to make table changes from Table Designer without recreating.

    Hi Guys,

    I'm using SS 2K8. I was required to add a foreign key to my table. So I opened the table in the table designer and it told me that I had to recreate the table!! Is there an option which I need to change to allow me to change the table design? I understand this is probably a good idea for production server but this is a dev box.

    Thanks guys I have found the answer by myself. If you go to Tools > Options > Designers > Table and Database Designers

    and deselect the Prevent saving changes that require table re-creation checkbox.

    Phew!
