Hi,
I'm installing SQL Server 2008 and I'm trying to change the default path of Shared feature directory (C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server to D:\Microsoft SQL Server) and Shared feature directory (x86) (C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SQL Server to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server or D:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server ) But getting the below error:
TITLE: SQL Server 2008 Setup

There are validation errors on this page. Click OK to close this dialog box. Review errors at the bottom Setup page, then provide valid parameters or click Help for more information.

BUTTONS:
OK

[Error Message]
The INSTANCESHAREDWOWDIR command line value is not valid. Please ensure the specified path is valid and different than the INSTANCESHAREDDIR path.
================================================================================
So my question is:
Can we change this default path for hared feature directory & hared feature directory (x86)? Is this allowed? Please see the attachment
Thanks

Check that the folder structure you wish to change it to exists.
