Hello ,
Below are the counters which i need to set to monitor my SQL SERVER 2005 environment. Can anyone please provide me with some scripts which
i need to deploy to trace these counters and what all threshold values i need to set for each counter .
Prcesses
Locks
Blocking
CPU Usage
Processor Queue Length
Processor Time
Memory Usage
Paging
Cache Hit Ratio
Buffer Cache
Procedure Cache
Disk Busy
Sql Server Physical I/O
Any inputs on this will be of great help to me.

See there can be ideal values for some Counters i.e. Avg. Disk Queue Length etc. but if you talk abt ideal value for all of them i would say that will depend upon setup. The ideal value\ Threshold value is something which is based on many things your h\w DB size, no. of users, kind of queries running, kind of Disks you people are using etc.
