We just terminated the report writer who created all of our reports.
Now I get an email saying nobody got their reports via the subscription.
When I look I see "the report server has encountered a configuration error"
Do I need to remove this user (then add myself) using report configuration manager?
I don't see anything in the report manger that would stop the reports from being sent.

I've never had this problem you're describing but I did find some information that may help you...

I believe subscriptions run under the user id of the person who creates them, so you may have to recreate the subscriptions if the terminated person used his/her own id to create them.
It seems to me that now would be a good time to create a Windows user id specifically for subscription creation that is not tied to any one individual and use that id when recreating the subscriptions.

If the error is due to the subscription owner being terminated, you do not have to create new subscriptions - you can just reassign ownership of the existing subscriptions.
Take a look at this thread: http://www.sqlservercentral.com/Forums/Topic771210-162-1.aspx
Note that you can modify the code there if you need to assign different owners to different reports. Just join to to catalog table to get the report names.
Hope that helps.
