SSIS 2k5. Got a well structure file but has \r\0. How do I represent null in the DTS package for the field of the row delimiter?
I tried {cr}{lf}{0} {cr}{lf}{null} {cr}{lf}{\0} {cr}{lf}\0
Thanks 🙂

Form this:

it doesn't appear there is a recognized designation for NULL. How is the flat file being produced? Can you run it through some other tool (like sed) before you have to import it?

We're importing data for a customer into our database and the customer's data is being provided by a 3rd party who houses their data and neither the customer nor the data provider seem to know much about data exporting...
I guess I'll just have to find a way to clean the file.
Thanks for the info 🙂
I couldn't find if it was supported or not, so I assumed it was.
