Hi All,
We have environment with Windows Server 2003 R2. 32-bit windows and Oracle Database Version 11.1.0.7.0 we have ODBC Version for SQL SERVER is 2000.86.4360.00
In Oracle 11.1.0.7.0 we created one DBLink TEST through ODBC (Heterogenous connection) Pointing to SQL 2005 SP3 CU8, x64.
We Created one view at Oracle 11.1.0.7.0 by using DBLink TEST. We want to load data into target table by using View(Source). Simple Select and Insert statement to load data.
But the above statement is goining on running.
We have the same setup in Oracle Version 9.2.0.4.0 and it is taking 3 minutes to insert data into target table.
In Oracle 9.2.0.4.0 we have ODBC Version for SQL Server as 2000.81.9002.00.
Hence we are trying to degrade ODBC Version for SQL SERVER from 2000.86.4360.00 to 2000.81.9002.00
Please let us know how can we downgrade SQL SERVER ODBC Version.
Regards,
Ava

Are you talking about the ODBC driver on the Windows 2003 server? If so, I don't think you can.
In Windows 2000 and below you could change the MDAC version, but 2003 and above are part of the operating system.
