I can query the ROLAP fact table
SELECT * FROM dbo.FACT_Sessions_Quality_Pupil_Level
and get back 230743 records The facts have numbers in them where available.
I go to Analysis Services, go to the data source, explore the data in that specific fact table,
and the data is there. I then go to the cube click on the fact and explore again and the data is there.
I click on the dimension tab and is shown as a measure group. I then go to explore
and try and browse the facts but I just get Nulls for everything. Have I dont anything wrong
or is it a bug? any help would be appreciated.

I have just deleted the data source and then set everything up all over again and I am still getting exactly the same issue.

I have just tried adding the fact table to its very own cube and then processing. Exactly the same thing has happened. The data is there but the browser has blank values. So I cant even solve the problem by having 1 fact table per cube.
Heylp

Did you set-up the dimension usage correctly?
Need an answer? No, you need a question

I went into the dimensions tab and ensured all the dimensions were referenced. Is there anything else I should be looking at?

Ive tried two more tests. I took the fact table and created a cube with just this fact table in. Again exploring the fact table shows the data. Going into the browser everthing is blank. This is the same in reporting services.
I then tried again after replacing all the fact NULL values with 0. The exact same thing is happening. Does anyone know if this is a know bug.
Obviously Id be in a better position if our technical team gave me the right SW to work with SQL 2008 Enterprise edition) But because the WONT!!! Im stuck with 2005 Standard.
I am really stuk here:(

I have found a solution. 😀
Delete cube to redeploy
Log onto [Server]
Open Services and stop SQL Server Analysis Services (MSSQLSERVER)
Take copy of the analysis services project and then delete everything in Z:\SQLData\AnalysisServices\MSSQL.2\OLAP\Data\CAYA_DataWarehouse_Dev.0.db
Restart the service.
Delete the empty database in Analysis Services (otherwise encryption key failure) and redeploy from project transient
