Hi,
Is there any way that we can display fixed no.of columns on matrix report.Like 5 columns on 1st page ,next 5 on 2nd page and so on.. The rows should be displayed normally,like as many as a pae can have. PLease help me ..this is reaaly urgent for me.

By using filter conditions u can fix the columns in page, i don't understand thing what u have mentioned, could u plz give some what clear idea,if it's possible.

What Iam trying to do is.. I've a matrix report ( parameterized ).When I run the report ,I need fixed no.of columns to be displayed on the page. Say 5 columns on the 1st page ,next 5 col's on the 2nd page. There's no restriction on the rows/ records.

u have to change ur REPORT -> PROPERTIES -> LAYOUT -> HEIGHT/WIDTH properties... Reduce those points.. so that it breaks up.. but 😎 grouping ll be visible only in 1 st page... 🙂

hey ,
I tried using DENSE_RANK() function inthe dataset query ,and it did worked for me.It's now showing 5columns/page.
