HI
Often i have come accross the question on which one is better amongst Oracle and SQL Server. Does this debate have any definitive answer? How should one make the choice among these 2 ?
I could think up the below points but none of them zeroes in to 1.
Stability:Both are quite stable i think and none scores more than the other if implemented properly
Scalability:Again same as above
Usage of the application:For example Datawarehousing/OLTP.Any + / -points of these 2
Ease of development:Surely SQL Server scores here
Features available: Do not know whether any specific feature is available in one which is not there in another one
I have read many articles from both MS and Oracle , but have failed to conclude on a correct to the point answer. Is such an answer possible at all?
Any pointers/suggestions/comments will be really helpful

No. It's a matter of opinion, hence will differ from person to person.
