Shrinking & Reindexing

    Hi All,

    In which scenerio we can use the shrinking database , reindexing and all..

    I would appreciate,If any body share with me,

    The only time you want to shrink a database is after a massive archive and delete that has left an immense amount of free space in the data file that will not be used by data growth for many months.
