Hello All,
Just a question that came to my mind...and I need to discuss it...
If I have multiple processes and reports going on, not related in any way...
shall I run them of one Database and assign separate reports and schema for each of them? or just separate data bases?
what's the best scenario concerning the performance and the best practice..or when really you can do that?
Thanks

I'm in agreement with Celko.
Answering the second part of your question about best practice, best practice would say: build a database that mirrors as close as possible the data model of the organization including business rules then extract your reports from such a database.
