HI,
I am seeing lots of disk IO on one of my SQL 2005 machine. After running rom Perfmon I saw at process called dsm_sa_datamgr32 who is doing the most of the I/O (DELL Data Manager use to manage the disks). My machine is a 64 bits and I think the dsm_sa_datamgr32 is a 32 bits, Am I corect? Can this be an issue?
I am trying to find some tools to help me to pinpoint my problem, someone can help? I found SQLIO but seems to be a pain to use, no?
Thanks,

Has there been any recent changes made to the server perhaps driver or firmware updates?
What version of OM are you running?
If not the latest can you upgrade to the latest supported version?

Start with the basics: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc966413.aspx
If you can show that it is not a SQL Server problem, enlist help from your hardware specialist.
