  Does anyone know what is going to be the next version of sql server ?

  After 2008 R2 ,are they planning to release another version anytime soon?

  Are they going to have sql server 2011 :angry:?

  I don't know what they're going to call it, but I'd bet that the version number starts with "11."

  I wouldn't expect to arrive in 2011. I would expect to see it in 2012 (two years is a quick turnaround between releases).
