MMC could create the snap-in Name:SQL Server Configuration Manager

  • I have a test cluster 2-node (SS 2005 x64) I am almost through with uninstalling SS2005 manually from node1. What do I need to do in order to remove SQL Server Configuration Manager?

Thank you for your continued support,

  • There's a lot of things that get left behind during un-installs. I've never unistalled anything from a cluster, I would consider it bad practice.

I think you would benefit more in learning and also getting the setup correct by just re-imaging and starting over, if your timeline allows.
