Could not connect to the report server

    Hi,

    I am running 2008 version. and while doing deployment it gave me the below error:-

    "Could not connect to the report server http://myservername/ReportServer. Verify that the TargetServerURL is valid and that you have the correct permission to connect to the report server.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The request failed with HTTP status 400: Bad Request. (System.Web.Services) "

    I was able to deploy it successfully earlier but it is giving me this error once I have re-installed sql server 2008.

    Any idea what should I check to correct this?

    Hi,

    Try to connect the report server from Management Studio if u can able to connect the report server then try to reconfigure the Report server configuration with the proper login/credentials.

    I'm having a similar problem. I can connect to the report server via the url (http://servername/reports and /reportserver), but I can't connect via BIDS to deploy the report, nor can I connect in Management Studio. MS says "the server was not found or was not accessible."

    Any ideas???
