Different Collation for a DB

    All,

    I want to create a database with different collation than windows or sql server instance. Is it possible to use collate clause in create database syntax to define a new collation for specific database?

    Every element in a server instance can have a different collation. We have one table olne that has 7 different collations.

    so we just use with collate clause with whatever collation we want in the Create Database syntax right?
