Hi,
We have SQL Server 2005 EE x64 with SP3. We did NOT install SSIS but I'm able to create all the maintenace plans.
Is that possible to create Maintenance palns with out installing SSIS ?
Thanks

Yes - you do not need SSIS installed to create or run maintenance plans in SQL Server 2005. As long as you are at SP1 or greater (I think it was SP1).
The other thing you have to make sure is that your client tools are at the same version or higher than the server. If your client tools are RTM or SP1 and you are trying to create a maintenance plan on a server with SP3 it will not work and you will have errors.
What problems are you having?

Echoing Jeff here. SSIS is unnecessary to create a maint plan. However, if you have SSIS installed, you can edit the Maint Plan with BIDS. You would have to export the maint plan in order to do that though.
