Folder pernmission

    Hi,

    have the following problem.

    Installed SQL2008 with a account that have server admin permissions. Created a backup and a Data directory at a seperate disc. Set SA permissions to users that are memeber of a domaingroup.

    Problem: other members of that group does not have permission to access that folder or attach databases located in that folder. What did i forget?

    Is the "separate disk" on same server? Same domain? Does the owner of the backup job have permissions?

    Solution: The UAC hade gone terrible wrong on that server 😉 hence not an SQL problem .... Thanks for the reply.
