parameter driven hidden column is exported to csv although it's hidden. At the report mgr it works fine when the parameter makes the column hidden it isn't shown at the report.
But when exporting it to a csv file the hidden column is exported !?
How can i avoid it from being exported when it's hidden ?
I'm using reporting services 2008

The only suggestion would be to not only hide the column based on the parameter, but change the value of the cell as well. Then it could simply show as a blank or 0 when exported to .csv.

Click the cell you set to hidden and go to the properties window and change the "Data Output" option to "NO OUTPUT" from AUTO.

Hi
I have the same problem. In SSRS 2005 when you use hidden property on columns the column is hidden when you export the report to CSV, but in SSRS 2008 in is exported to the file. I see this as a securityrisk that this isn't working in 2008. Am I doing something wrong.?
