If database in Bulk Log recovery model then how you will configure Transaction Replication?

    Hi All;

    If a database in Bulk Log recovery model then how you will configure Transaction Replication?

    I was replied that replication is not depends no database recovery model. Replication will work in all recovery models.

    Then he ask me that in the simple recovery model there in no transaction log will maintain I say OK! then how will Transaction Replication work.

    I was replied that transaction marks as replication and wait for log reader agent to take marked transaction to distribution database.

    But he is not aggred!

    We can't help you with your fight with an interviewer. If you have problems with the questions, take it up with the interviewer if you can.

    Transactional replication is configured exactly the same, regardless of recovery model.
