one of our SQL Server(2008 SP1 enterprise) has issue with sqlagent.exe which is taking almost 7 gig until it gets restart and no SQL Agent job is running, nothing is posted in sqlagent error log , Any pointers?

If it's doing no work at all, but using up all the memory on the system... I'd contact Microsoft. Open a PSS call or at least put it in Connect as a bug. That's pretty abnormal behavior.

I'd agree with Grant. No reason for this much memory to be used. Even if it's taken and then not released, it's an issue.
Love to hear more if you do open a case.
