Removing a guest user from system databases

    Is it okay to remove the guest user from the system databases? I see a guest user in our master, msdb and tempdb databases. We have Sql Server 2000.

    No. You cannot remove from master and tempdb for sure. While it is possible in SQL Server 2000 for msdb, it shouldn't be done there. It's not supported in later versions.
