Can anyone tell me how I could monitor CLR activity on my server?
I am interested in memory usage, no of calls etc, CPU time.

Read the following document by Kimberly Tripp that covers monitoring CLR.

Basically, you look at the normal .NET performance counter objects, and then pick the sqlservr instance for the ones of interest and monitor it through those counters.
