It was for a bit of fun this past weekend. You may have noticed a few starwars-related posts as well. Grant's changed his avatar back already, I'll do so when I get back from this trip.

May the Force be with you.

  • I don't know, it's tough to say what with RBAR holding out.

And in case you're wondering, Grommit was indeed in Star Wars, Episode III, I believe. The story goes that one of the animators was sick so they brought in this guy from England who had also been working on Wallace and Grommit. He, being British, and obviously with a sense of humour no one understood, decided to insert one frame of the infamous dog into that movie, thus forever altering peoples perception of the cuddly little character.

  • Yoda grammer used only when humor needed.

I would not try to get important points across using such grammer. It would easily get lost in translation.

  • Ok, I'll join for a while...

I couldn't find one of my own posts in a thread because of that.

Heh... had to stick with the "No RBAR" theme, somehow and still do the Star Wars thingy... changed part of the sig, too! 😉

    --Jeff Moden

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.
