Looking at the 70-432 Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 - Implementation and Maintenance cert.
While trying to find books I didn't see any that seemed to have good reviews on Amazon.com:
and
The Real MCTS SQL Server 2008 Exam 70-432 Prep Kit: Database Implementation and Maintenance
Can anyone offer any good advice on a book to pickup to help study for that exam?
Thanks!

Believe they're the only two available at the moment.
I've got copies of both of them. I prefer the red "Real MCTS" guide as it seems to have fewer errors in it. One point though, is that it is a prep book, not really a prep kit as there is no CD with questions on, unlike the blue Microsoft book.

I don't suppose the book's website has a list of error corrections or anything so I can go through and mark the inaccuracies?

The errata for the blue MS Press book is http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968609
The errata for the red Real MCTS book is http://www.elsevierdirect.com/companion.jsp?ISBN=9781597494205

not the best study guide, but preplogic is having a sale with the SQL 2005 guide costing $1 or $5. it's a pdf which is annoying, but i read it on the train via an iphone app

Hi Maxer,
Good luck with the exam. You might want to take a look at http://www.wrox.com/WileyCDA/WroxTitle/Professional-Microsoft-SQL-Server-2008-Administration.productCd-0470247967.html. (I prefer books that I can later use for reference or examples, rather than 'how to pass this exam' type books.) HTH

I ended up getting this one: The Real MCTS SQL Server 2008 Exam 70-432 Prep Kit: Database Implementation and Maintenance
Turns out we had a digital copy at work through our library program with Safari books online or something like that.
It seems to be OK thus far.
I already have several 08 SQL servers I work with, so I'm doing well with the admin stuff thus far and I worked with 05 prior to that.
I'm hoping this book will force me to mess around with some of the more obscure areas I don't normally work with (clustering, which isn't really obscure granted, and some XML stuff, endpoints, etc... subsystems I don't use at work but will need to know for the test).
