I am new to SQL and I was asked to purchase Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition for Small Business to sit on a 2008 Sever and accessed by up to 5 users. I purchased what I thought was the right thing, which was sold as "OEM Software, SQL Server 2008 Std SB Cal User 5 CAL" All I received was a license and no media.
My question is... Have I been a complete idiot and ordered the wrong thing, if so can I download the media to go with the license I have?

Where did you buy it from? I am sure you can download it and use the license keys you received in the mail. It should work. I am just unsure about the OEM part.

It was bought from a reputable online retailer in the UK. The license seems genuine, but what concerns me is, if I could download the software, would I need a license key? The license I bought just seems to have a Tracking ID and no key. By the way, do you have a link to where I could download the software from?
