Does Restoring SQL 2000 Backup will enable replication itself

  Hi All,

  I have to build a server in SQL 2000. Existing Database in SQL 2000 is being configured to do Pull replication from another Server. I need to know that if i made a full backup of existing production database and restore the database on a new machine does this restoring process also setup replication on the new server? Or i have to enable pull replication on the new server as well.

  Also i have to subscribe the new server on the server from where data gets loaded.

  I haven't done replication in SQL Server before. ? Any help would be appreciated.

  No. If you restore on a new server all replication settings are lost.
