In which files does actually SQL Server store data?Can we have a different collation for database and table? Thanx in advance.

It will store the data in a mdf file, you can find the path the file by right click on the database -> properties -> Files .. there you can find the path of the mdf file as well as log file.
For your second question ... YES I think.

Hi,
Yes, you can have a column with a different collation from the table, but it can be problematic, especially round tempdb in my experience (though not my database). Look up 'Collation' in BOL. Kimberly Tripp has blogged on 'Collation Woes' too.
