"Active Threads"

    The "Are the posted questions getting worse?" thread is not appearing in the "active threads" menu item.

    Ive tried logging out and back in again , but still not there.

    Im getting email notifications though.

    I'll ask (sorry for the delay). I know I've seen it up there at times.

    Be aware that we cache some of that info, so a refresh doesn't kill the db server.

    i've got a couple of questions related to the same issue.

    what is the definition of "Recent Posts>>Posts Added Today"

    i just replyed to a post from 5 days ago, and it does not appear in the "Recent Posts>>Posts Added Today" ; the same with two other posts, all more than 5 days old. since I replied, regardless of caching, i'd expect it to show up sometime int he last hour.

    I suspect that the query used might be using the original post date as a filter? say only items created 5 days or less, regardless of the date of any replys? does that sound right? and that is why when we reply to an "older" thread, it is not appearing in the Recent Posts?

    this post is a perfect example...the original thread's from a ways back, and does nto appear in the Recent posts.
