SQL Server 2008 Installation

    Hi!

    I have a strange issue here. I am trying to install SQL Server 2008 Developer Edition x64 on a Windows Server 2003 R2 x64. Prerequisites passed and it starts to copy the Setup Support Files. While doing this the installation window closes without an error message. There is also no error message in the Setup Folder or in the logs. Has anyone experienced this before and nows the reason for this?

    Actually I found the error! There where previously SQL 2008 Evaluation Version installed. I removed this but forgot to remove the Setup Support Files as well. These causes a version missmatch. After removing the Setup Support Files I was able to install SQL 2008 complete.
