Hi Team,
currently i am taking backup to my remote servers using ftp but now that backup size to long how can i take my backup could you please some good soultion

u can use backup compression feature of SQL 2008. for other versions, compress the backup file and then FTP it.

One more option is to use a third party tool that knows how to backup and compress that backup file. There are few tools that can do that and they have around for few years so they are also very reliable.

Try to take direct backup from the SQL server.
Or take backup on the same location and then compress it and then transfer it to the destination
