I am running Server 2008 Trying to setup Reporting Services 2008.
Got 2008 SQl Server running on my computer.
Can't configure RS . In my Reporting Services Configuration Manager
When I enter my server name 'Kaviserver1' in the 'Server Name:' textbox and hit the 'Find' button I get the error - Invalid Class.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled around 5 to 6 times
This is my Error Message

Do you have other instances of SQL Server installed? SQL2005, Express? Please verify you're connecting to the right instance.
Thanks

I ran into the same problem.
I've both 2008 and 2005 installed on my environment. In 2005 Reporting Services Configuration, I can choose both 2005 and 2008 instance. But, I got "Invalid Class" exception when I tried in 2008 Reporting Services Configuration.
By the way, my 2008 instance is default.
Any more idea?
