Good Day,
We deployed the latest Windows uodates to our Reporting Services Server. However when we rebooted the server the SQL Server Reporting Services failed to restart using the Startup Account.
We checked this Startup Account on AD , it was not locked
On the server, the account belonged to the Local Admin Group
In the Database System, the account belongs to Sysadmin Role and has all the required permissions in the ReportServer DB.
The database is healthy
In the Eventlog it is stated that the Reportin Services is unable to connect to the database.
I trid to signon to The Report Services Configuration Manager and the follwoing error was displayed : " Application failed to initialize" (0xc0000007b)
Any ideas ?

Have you checked to see if any other window services have failed to start.
