Hi
At the moment we have approx 30 Subscriptions on our SSRS server. Each one of these has been set to
Credentials used to access the file share: as {domanin}\{name} and password
As a policy we have to change out NT Domain logon password every 30 days.
However this means we have to go into each subscription and change that stored password for each one every 30 days.
Q) Have we set up something wrong?
Q) Do we need to do something to autmatically change the stored password on the SSRS server for that to take place
At the moment it's a 10/20 min job however if we increase the amount of subscriptions I don't want to be doing this every month.
Thanks in advance
Doug

You need to create and use the SSRS unattended execution account because changing permission to anything running a service is not a scalable solution. So you need to talk to your manager and system admins to create that account for SSRS subscriptions. SSRS uses a COM dll to talk to either IIS or Exchange changing password to such process is not a good idea.
