Good day guys, i want to know a step by step approach on how to move a package to production after development in BIDS

You can use Google for that. Just go to the search engine and type the key words (for example deploy ssis package sql server 2005). You'll get many articles that will show you how to do it.

First of all you need to include configuration files for each of your packages. Assuming you have that and assuming you keep SSIS packages on FileSystem, copy over the dtsx files and the config files over to Production server and change the values in config files.
