Hi guys,
I can't seem to find any material online covering this - can you tell me the difference between syslogins & sysxlogins? Even a link to a tutorial covering this would suffice.
Thanks,
Laurence

On SQL 2005 they are both backward compatibility views, are deprecated and should not be used any longer. The replacements are sys.sql_logins and sys.server_principals

Gail provided you with the answer and good advise;
I just want to add this:
In many cases, if you have an open query panel, just highlight the keyword you are looking for and hit SHIFT + F1. Books Online will open and show info regarding the searched item.
In this case highlight syslogins and hit shift+f1.
