I am moving my replication databases from SQL 2000 to 2005 and I am used to keeping an eye on my replication though the SQL 2000 Enterprise Manager\Replication Monitor Group\Distribution Agents screen. I like to keep that up to view the "last action" so I can see that transactions (ie, 35 commands with 105 transactions...) are actively distributing to my subscribing databases. Is there a way to see the same type of information in the SQL 2005 Replication Monitor? In case it makes a difference I am using transactional replication with one publisher, a dedicated distributor and multiple subscribers.
Thanks

You can see that in the replication monitor. You just have to choose the Agents tab and from the drop down box, select the Log reader

Thanks Roy, that helps a lot. However, it looks like I have to look at each publication separately. In the SQL 2000 Enterprise Manager I could see all of the subscriptions and their "Last Action" on one screen at the same time. Is that not possible with the SQL 2005 Replication Monitor?
Thanks again.

To my knowledge this isn't possible anymore. You have to check each individual publication if you are interested in the details or you have to create a report or a stored procedure to do it for you. At the beginning I missed this information as well but actually I was never doing something with it. In the meantime I got used to it not to have it and I pretty much trust SQL Server 2005 to handle replication properly.

Thank you. I pretty much figured I wouldn't be able to see it like I am used to, but I wanted to ask in case there was a way.
