Fuzzy Lookup

    Can Fuzzy Lookup tansformation component's reference data source be an excel file? or should it be a sql server table always?

    Hi,

    Have a look at this MSDN BOL,

    It has been stated as follows at the end of the content,

    "The Fuzzy Lookup transformation requires you to select a reference table from an instance of SQL Server 2000 or later.

    However, the optional Maintain stored index option requires SQL-CLR integration, and therefore requires a reference table from an instance of SQL Server 2005 or later, with CLR integration enabled."

    So, does that mean Fuzzy Look up NOT support other reference data sources(like excel/xml)

    Please post ur thoughts on this....
