New to mdx and bids, esp ssrs using ssas as datasource...
I created some calculated member in a cube for time calculations so I can do YTD calculations, Prior Year Change etc. against the sales measure. In SSAS, when I am browsing the cube there it has the correct formatting that I declared in the cube calculations however, when doing a report in SSRS, the format is not being used.

Not sure what the question is here, what do you want? Do you want us to tell you how to format the result in SSRS? Or, are you asking why the format doesn't carry through? See the link in my signature to help you better pose the question you are looking for an answer for.

sorry for the confusion... My question is, why the format and sorting that I declared in BIDS did not carry through? If I view the cube from BIDS cube browser or SSAS cube browser, format and sorting did carry thorugh. But with SSRS it dropped the format and sorting for the hierarchy members.
I hope this time I'm a little but clearer. Thanks!
