SQL 2k5 sp2 Alerts not working on our clustered environment. Anyone have this issue? Is there a work around?

Have you made sure the alerts are set up with a working DB Mail account and all that?

Yes, it's a 64bit and our jobs are notifying us using dbmail.

When you are saying that it does not work, what do you mean?
Any error messages? Did you try sending a test email?
Did you enable db mail on both servers?

DBMail works just fine. The Alerts are not working. When the server shuts down, the log gets full, severity errors happen, it does not send out the alert. DBMail works with stored procedures, jobs and test emails. DBMail is not the issue. We have shut down the server, had full logs on databases and do not receive the alerts.

Any related error messages? (It should be in Agent Error log).

SQL Server error logs, logged the full log on a database, however there are no error logs on sql server agent since the alert was never sent.
