SSIS Web applications

    Hi,

    I am relatively new to SSIS and need some advice. I need to access a web application, that has a username and password. Then automatically goto a download link and put in a some parameters (such a date etc). Then I want to save the resultant .csv somewhere.

    Is this possible?

    That might be complicated. I would prefere to use a script-component in that situation.

    Hi Bryan,

    There are a couple approaches you may want to try.

    1. See if the site has or can supply access to the download via ftp.

    2. See if the file can be obtained via a web service.

    SSIS facilitates FTP and Web Service integration out of the box.
