Hi Experts,
I have a scheduled full backup job in my Sql server.Job is scheduled in my windows authentication.
Its scheduled to run every day at 11pm. I found the job stays in executing state when its starts on schedule.
But when i cancel the job and run manually it runs successfully same in my windows authentication.
Please help

I would start by having a look in your Job history to see if there are any errors.

There are no errors recorded.
I tried creating similar job and scheduled it
The job has full db backup and clean up task older than 3 days.
But the newly created job also got stuck in executing state.
Its now almost 11hrs.
when i run the job manually it takes just 8min to complete.
This is a primary server of log shipping will that be an issue.
Log backup is done every 15min.

sounds like you have either a permissions issue or blocking, when running it check to see what else is running at the same time and does the sql agent account have permissions to execute the job in full.
